Great, that's what I did but I teed it off at the wastegate to turbo line and now I'm getting a little bit of boost creep, where did you T your lower port into? Did you just tap it into the main vacuum source that you used for the main port on the BOV?

You guys added a vacumm line to the little nipple on the lower side of the BOV? So you have 2 lines going to your Type S? I only have the line going to the nipple on the purple uppper part. Does it make it blow off more and louder?

yup we have 2 lines. it does make a difference in sound, and speed of operation. it opens a little faster. i have an avcr and i tapped into the turbo to solenoid valve line, i sealed the lower chamber of the BOV it is not an airtight chamber so i did not feel safe teeing into it without sealing it. it works very well! okay that's all for now

I thought the bottom line should only be connectd to a line where it is oppostite of the top line. The top line goes to the top of the diaphragm...when you boost the top of the diaphragm is pushed down preventing the valve from pushing open..then when the throttle closes a vaccumm pulls the valve open. Now since the lower part is connected to the bottom of the diaphragm it should do the exact oppostie of what the top is doing : push pull action daniel son. So when we boost the line should feel vaccumm, and when we have vaccumm (shut throttle plate) there should be boost. I know there is a way to do this...I'm just lazy to think of the way they do it. But like James and Mike said just hook it up to some vaccumm line..rite bro. Whatever works!

What I ended up doing is just remove the inner spring on the Type S and now it blows off easier with no chattering. And still able to hit 1.08 kg/cm on the spyder.

well, with the new total seal rings the vaccum is much higher, it went from like 300mmhg to 500mmhg at idle! well, the BOV screw had to be turned in like 5 more turns to keep the valve closed. alvin the lower port sees boost, and the upper port sees boost and vacuum, when the car is boosting both chambers are at the same pressure basically and whatever difference there is the spring helps and holds it closed. hey kaiser, unbolt your radiator fan and drop it down a little, then you can get a wrench in there and tighten that stupid ass bolt. man i hate that bolt too!

The blitz only has one port there is no diaghram in the blitz unit, it is just a brass piston with an aluminum seal. the blitz unit is in a way already doing what we are doing to it. the pressure is always pressing on the valve trying to open it so when the port sees vacuum the piston is actually being pushed on by boost helping it to open. in all honesty i think the blits BOV is a little nicer. i have both. the blits one seems to make the car run better, i don;t know why but it appears to keep the turbo spooled better. maybe it's all in my head but i do think there is a difference

cool cool James. i'll do that. Actually I was thinking of bending a chrome moly 15mm wrench into roughly the shape of the HRC downpipe and see if I can access that biach from below. We'll see how it goes.

I want to add a line to the bottom nipple on my type s BOV. One thing I am worried about is this

JAMESMAN: "i sealed the lower chamber of the BOV it is not an airtight chamber so i did not feel safe teeing into it without sealing it."

So if I hook the bottom line up I am going to have a vacum leak unless I seal the BOV chamber? If so how do I go by sealing the chamber?
