#18209, "Dyno results, HRC stage I Auto tranny"

Well, I took my car to a real shop last night,
we discovered that my FPR was bad, it would run rich up to 5000 rpms then lean the hell out of it afterwards, to dangerous levels.. peak HP was 130..

2 hours and a new FPR later, The results were not bad...

156 HP @ 4.5 psi, 162 @ 5 psi with one of their mbc's.
130 something lbs of torque, awesome curves for both.. I'll scan in the pages tonight when I get home.. just thought I'd share =)

So you only saw like 160hp at the wheels with a stage 1? I was under the impression that the HRC stage 1 kit would put ~180 at the wheels.

With 113 hp only 4.5 psi will not yield 67 more hp.

Usually 1 psi = ~11hp.

the FPR was the same type, looks very similar to the hrc one but with a built in check valve, model 20005 I think it is..

So are those HP #'s ok?

Considering drivetrain loss to be about 20% for an auto, (Someone posted the loss % before, I thought i was a little over 20 for auto)..
at 162hp, I'm making around 194+ at the crank

Only an afx udp, and a gst muffler at the moment, as far as the turbo goes, I had to get a turboxs type h-rfl > emoji

next up is gonna be 2.5 exhaust with a good muffler, and then I'll put in my starion.. poor starion just sitting in my closet waiting to have 8 psi run through it.. hehe..

I cant to see what it does in the 1/4.. anyone have 1/4 and 0-60 times in a stage I auto?

My guess should be low 15's unfortunately. Maybe 15.0

When you want to sell that gs-t muffler send me an email, I am selling my exhaust and want something quieter.

Heck, I'll be happy with mid to low 15's, and 14's at stage II..

I'll probably start looking for a new muffler in a week or two, I'll let you know

Ok, w/ 113 hp STOCK at the wheels w/ an auto tranny, what would a 5spd have? I've got 126hp at the wheels and 122ft/lb torque w/ just a Dreamspeed CAI and 3A Racing muffler w/ custom semi-catback. So I should see roughly, what, 175-180hp @ the wheels with HRC Stage 1 @ 5psi?
