#18161, "turbo question"

If I am running a HRC Stage 1 and I put a Starion fmic in...will I be able to up the boost without adding anything else? Do I need the 9 psi wastegeate that comes with HRC's upgrade? Sorry if this is a dumb question...any help is appreciated...

Yes. Sort of.

You will have to retune your fuel pressures for 9psi.

I'd buy a boost controller rather than a wastegate spring as well.

I also agree with Dino--just buy a boost controller, instead of the stage two actuator (I think it's about $130) to increase the boost. You could find a very good manual boost controller for $50-70.

Yea I would say just to buy a boost controller. It would be a whole lot easier to work with

So all I would need is a boost controller?? I can see that I would then be able to turn my boost up easy. But do I need anything else? I am unfamiliar with what the wastegate actuator is all about
