#18144, "What about A Fuel Cut Defender For my 97rs ,,, i bought this kit from a 96 owner"
recently i purchased a star stage 2 turbo kit from a previous owner who owned a 96 rs. I believe if my research is correct i found that the 95-96 fuel mapping system is different from the 97-99? Am I right... The point im trying to make is i bought the kit and my car seems to bog down as sooon as i start the car up and try to drive it under some boost,,, What could be the problem, the fact that I need a vc1 or vc2 and i am a 97 ... After about a minute the car idles fine and then it can handle boost without very limited boost hesitation... Any help is greatly appreciated.. Do I need a Fuel Cut defender for my 97 rs ......... please help..
never had a fuel cut defender with my kit,,,,and we wonder what the problem is....blah blah blah

The 96's require a fusl cut defencewr as well. The only model that does not is the 95.
