#17997, "Help my car wont start up, i just finished star Stage 2 install!!"
i just finished my install on my star stage 2 . I double checked the vac lines. I double checked the vortech install. I put oil and everything necessary in it. I ran everything. I went to crank it up , when it started and idled between 1-1 1/2 k rpm, then it just died. Gas started coming from the out line from the vortech so i used a smaller line and then the leak stopped. Went to crank it up and it wont turn, i tried to crank it up again and it wont start up..?? I seen oil leaking went to check it and yep , its the T fitting behind the block thats leaking. I tightened that. . still dont know whats going on. I went to double check to see if the 255 fuel pump was was working and its fine. I installed stock to see if that could be the prob, but no..... I need help with all this trouble shooting... if any help would be greatly appreciated, must go to work tomorrow or quit....!!!!! i need my ride email me at wbadger703@aol.com for further help

well if for sure your fuel pump is working and there is fuel going around adjust your fuel pressure a bit higher each time then try to start it ... and also when you start your car hold the pedel down for a little bit and see what happens.. i had my car down doing install about 4days and when we tried to crack it, it would die so my friend james just held the pedel down for a little bit for it to run then let go and it stay on... the ecu does loss its memory so when you have the battary off for a long time and dont drive it takes a bit more tried to start her... if you got the mapper to ur stock map sensor make sure its hooked up right i cut my map wire once and my car would not run... try it its a small problem... =) Michael 99gs Boost It! if it does not start also check your fuel pressure gauge.. do you see atleast around 40psi during cranking? if not check the make sure the pump works.. if it runs but low fuel presure adjust te screw in the middle of fpr...also make sure oil is reaching the turbo...also make sure your vacuums are all correct ... go take your test drive if she runs hehe

yah dude, almost forgot to remind u guys to check that... good think i remembered... so how does it run ? like i said tighten all the leaks and make sure your fuel system lines are nice and tight... dont boost to much bro =)
