#17881, "what boost levels are people running...."

i'm just curious what boost levels people are running and (and what else you have besides the turbo).

i have just the intercooled setup (no internals), and sometimes it gets to just over 9 lbs during a run (depending on the weather). other than that it's usually around 8 psi when racing, and 3-4 daily. it's been pretty good so far and i finally fixed my blown o2 sensor and changed all the plugs and took it out for some passes and it worked great, the idle is back to normal and the fuel smell is gone.

when i set it on 8 lbs, it'll hit 9 the next nite if it's cold enough. is there any way around this? i'd like to stay below that range as much as possible to save my internals for at least the time being.

the colder the ambient air temp, the more air is that is compressed into your engine.. So on colder nights you will experience a little higher fluctuation in boost levels compared to that of a summer day... as for controlling it....??? different spring for the wastegate? i dont know a lot about that shit so i'll leave that up to someone else that does, hehe.

10PSi, even from stoplight to stoplight.

Probably going to up it to 12 tomorrow... it's running a little rich, so rather than take out fuel, i'm just gonna add some more air emoji
