Like any method, the VROG approach does have limits. Excessive fuel pressures achieved at higher-than-recommended boost pressures can damage injectors. Another aspect is injector 'lock up', where the injector is physically unable to open due to the hydraulic effect of the fuel pressure holding it closed. We avoid these issues in HRC Turbosystems by carefully testing each system under boosted conditions to determine the limitations of the fuel injectors. We also employ high-pressure ACCEL fuel pumps that include an internal relief circuit calibrated to prevent excessive pressure. Additionally, we have a very explicit section in our 40 page Installation and Tuning Guide that points out the correct procedures for running at the limit of the available fuel range at higher boost (8-10 PSI) while verifying safe fueling.
Is there a 'better' way to perform fuel enrichment? Frankly, I have examined and tested every available alternative in a similar cost range, and am still most comfortable with this setup. Undoubtedly, larger fuel injectors are beneficial, and could be included in the system if we wanted to raise the price. But we have seen good results in testing, at rated boost pressures, with stock injectors. I do recommend that if anyone is wishing to replace the stock injectors, they use larger ones; your HRC fuel regulator should allow you to achieve the adjustments needed (more info is avialble through our Tech Support department). FWIW, our Stage III concept involves larger injectors with the stock ECU, and will be available soon.
Does the higher fuel pressure make the injectors work harder? Certainly. However, the installation of a turbosystem also causes many other parts on your car to work harder...this comes with the territory. Is injector failure assured? Not by any stretch of the imagination!"

Bill, I know you can't be everywhere at once, but we at 2GNT can't have enough information by virtue of the popularity of your turbosystem and this board in general, so I went ahead and quoted one of your longer posts and linked the rest of the thread. Besides, those neon guys don't deserve all the great turbo fuel sermons!
