Another question.. I'll probably have a local muffler shop dot he catback piping 2 1/2 for me.. but what about the muffler? I dont care that much about the loudness or looks, as long as flows as well as I need.. the biggest factor for me is fit and price.. the cheaper the better (price not quality).. any suggestions? Thanks guys!

Those cherry bomb glasspacks are awful cheap. I think I bought a 2.5 one for close to $30. It doesn't get much cheaper than that. Plus it's straight through, so there isn't any encumberances there at all to slow the flow.
However, the cheapest alternative is no muffler at all.

Well I got a 3 inch magna flow for 80 bux I think the stainless steel version is like 100 something. It's great deet toned muffler. ANother cheap good muffler is a dynomax. Any performance muffler will do if it's straight thru.

Don't know Kirby. I actually use it as a resonator and not a muffler. But a lot of domestic guys will actually use it as a muffler. It's hella agressive soudning on their cars. It's gotta be loud though on ours.
