Ok, after waiting since last thursday, the shop finally finished installed my stage I HRC. They didnt install my boost gauge, they said HRC didnt ship them the pod.. hmm.. so I'll call HRC and see if theyll ship a new one.
They said the car would be fine to drive until this weekend when they put in the gauge and install my MBC. So, I paid, and left. It sounded good, I could hear the fuel pump, my bov sounded nice, and then I came to a stoplight, and pulled up next to my g/f in a 2000 neon. well, I floored it, the car bogged down, and she passed me. I tried a few more times and the car is slower than its ever been, so I took it back. They popped the hood and the little tube behind the valve cover didnt have a hose connected to it, and the guy said that was the problem. Is that possible?? Could that be the cause?
I'm worried these guys know as much about installing a turbo as I do.. which isnt very comforting, though HRC was the one who recommended the shop..
Can anyone let me know if that could cause a major loss in performance, i.e. worse than stock? Thanks guys, I'm supposed to pick it up again tonight..
