the engine will be coming out in 1-2 weeks for its rebuild. i am gonna be using 8.5 compression Wiseco pistons(from raceengineering... should be here in bout 2 weeks)and the eagle rods as far as internals go. for fuel, i will be getting the 30lb injectors from Summit that are 38 bucks a piece, along with a recalibration kit from vortech for my FMU. i will use the 6:1 disk in it. with this fuel setup, and the lower compression, what would be max boost i should run daily(pump gas)? 10psi? 12psi? 10-12 will do me fine until i can afford bigger injectors and a SAFC..ill be broke after this rebuild!(well, almost) thanks for any opinions and suggestions.

Personally, I would hold off on the 30# injectors and wait till you get the s-afc. Then buy the 440's and boost around 15 psi. But... if you have already ordered the 30#'s, 10-12 psi should be fine (especially with 8.5:1 comp). Just tune it with your a/f and egt till you are getting good numbers. At 10 psi with 8.5:1 compression, don't expect much gain in hp over boosting 7-8 psi on stock internals. That drop in compression = a drop in ponies too.
