Has there ever been a turbo kit group buy? and if so what kit was it and how much were they? and if some people want to start a GB maybe I could try to get in business with star or han.

well.. you could try and get a GB going.. but the last several attempts have crashed and burned... in a terrible way at that.. good luck if you can, but the discounts havent been that great either.. then you have to deal with the ppl that want in, but when it comes down to it, most drop out. good luck, and if you do get one going, post away.

the last time an HRC group buy was set up.. the savings was like 5% or something. It's really hard to get a group buy going too.

Ok just thought I would ask. I'm just thinking that most companies out there have markups from 15-35%. and on a $3000 product it would be around $450-$1000 off the price. I'm sure that most people that do a GB still want to make a shit load but who knows. most companies require a "buy in" and if I ever decide to go with selling turbo kits I would offer them at a good dicount. But the only way is if you go direct with the company. I just thought it might be worth looking into.

All I see at dsmtrader is people looking for used kits. and on ebay I see used kits going for $2500. Just want to know if people would be interested in Stage 2 for $2500.

Now I havent contacted HRC yet but if alot of people want to go for it then let me know.

sorry, i wasn't specific enough.. last time someone tried to get a group buy by talking with his friend's company to contact HRC, hrc could only offer a discount of like 5-10% (depending on amount of people who would be in)

this was over a month or so, and in the end, nobody thought the savings were worth it.

It was also right at the same time that HRC raised their prices, so it made the discount seem even less.

If you're really interested in a turbo, i know two people from maryland that have Star kits that *might* be selling their setup's soon. they are both having problems with their cars and will probably post the offer when they figure out what they want to do.
