I just emailed HRC about a request of possibly putting a stage I turbo kit together for my Lude? What do you guys think they will say? I doubt they will, but a I thought I would ask before I go ahead and go nitrous. So many of the kits for Ludes are ghetto and cost a so much cause the intercooler is not an option. Just curious to see what you guys think? Its not a big deal if they arent interested, I have been planning on going nitrous for a long time, but I know how good the kits are from you guys, and thought I would ask before I buy my DP fogger kit.

i doubt HRC will try to make a turbo for the lude.. only because they would be dealing with a whole new powerplant. But i seriously hear stories of turbo'd and SC'd lude's kicking everyone's butt. You might want to do some more research.

But then again.. nitrous isn't such a bad thing.

I think you have the H22 powerplant. A friend of mine is droping a lude engine (H22 I think) in his 95 Del Sol then he's adding a supercharger and a dual stage nitrous system. His sol came stock with the 1.6l v-tec and he blew it with a 75 dry shot.

BTW, Jackson Racing is a well respected company and they just came out with a supercharger for the lude. Id look into it, good luck bro.

I didnt think they would, but never hurts to ask. As for the H22, yes, very cool engine, not as boost friendly as your guys engine, but that could be because of the 10:1 compression and weak piston rings. If I go Turbo, I will drop the compression with a thicker headgasket, heard this can save the engine. Anyways, how about a custom Turbo setup? Would this cost as much, more, or less than the kits? Also, how would I go about getting one put together.

The supercharger is good, but why be limited to 13's, if I am gonna spend that much, I am gonna go Turbo.
