#16329, "Compression versus boost"

High compression=more hp
High boost=more hp
High compression + boost=broken car

Point is does anyone know the ideal numbers for compression and boost?
Does a low boost, high compression make more or less hp than low compression high boost?

You will not find the exact answer you want anywhere on the board. There are just too many variables to just come up with an "ideal" number. BUT...If you search the old posts (and archives), you will find many discussions about boost vs. compression from many knowledgable people. You will have to read those posts and probably read some turbo-related literature in order to come up with your own conclusion. Your answer to that question has alot to do with your goals, money, and ability.
