i've seen those auctions get all the way up to $2500 without the reserve being met. If you think you are going to get one for nothing... expect the reserve to be pretty close to the $2750 "buy it now" price.

i emailed the guy that was selling those a while back, and i think he told me that the reserve price was set at 2700, or somewhere around there. he lives in so cal, so he told me that i just pick it up from him and not pay ship.. i think he sells them for around 2700 though.

Yeah I know an auction has its ups and downs. The thing is I live in South cali. so I would NOT have to have it shipped. It is cheaper then the HRC kit. The thing is I keep hearing that the Star kit has little to no support and HRC's is unmatched...but I could get this and maybe have you guys help me out if I have any questions? Oh and Im a 98gs auto w/ 38K mi. Im just really confused...

hmm 2700 is retail price isn't it?! Haha like I should talk that's how much I got my stage 1 kit for I know you can get a stage 1 for around 1700-1800.
Hehe if there was no reserve and you could get win for say 2000 that's a steal hehe.....
