i had a really quick question, and i don't remember ever seeing it on here. I'm going to rebuilding my engine soon and was wondering some of the differences of lower and higher compresion.
I'm getting the howell bottom end kit and will be getting the lower compresion pistons (8.6). What are the horsepower differences say i have 8.6:1 running 7psi and a stock engine running 7psi. I'm assuming the lower compresion would be lower horsepower.

f your getting the rebuild than your engine could take the 10.5 comp. with a turbo, afx already pointed this out. If you plan to run crazy boost than get the lower compression to save your head.
