#16203, "Help Me my Car is acting up..."

well i posted last time that i'm having oproblems with my AFC, but now i don't think it's that, i think it's something else. well when i accelerate, my car vibrates and when it gets to 4000rpm, my power cuts out and comes back. i need to know if it's electrical related problem or transmission. 'cause this started happening ever since i got my car back from the mechanic when he fixed my transmission. like that if it was, then he's going to hear it from me big time! help me guys!

MAP sensor. Check your AFC wiring, and watch the sensor check screen of your AFC.

Are there any voltages? Do they change when you drive the car?

The MAP sensor is supposed to vary between ~1v at idle to about 4.7V at WOT. if it's not doing that, you've got it wired wrong, or something is loose.

Or you can get one from hrc for $50. And it is realy easy to install. You just splice it into 2 wires. It has worked great for me.

Dino.. I thought you said 95-96 doesn't need the vc1. I still run check valves and never had problems with stuttering or fuel cut.

No Rick.. the 95's don't have any problem with fuel cut. 96 and above DO... always have.. always will unless they swap in a 95 ECU, which may or may not work.
