#16190, "What is the Average HP with this set up??"

I just had my hrc FMIC put on and it Dynoed at 197 @ 8psi.
I have S-FMU, Apexi n1 cat-back (pieced together) and thats about it for mods.
I also have a bad clutch and 18"s.
The 197 seems low for me I was expecting at least 200.
i was wondering what you guys have had or what the average is.

Also i am going to the track tomorrow, if I have it tuned very well for 8 psi, would it be ok to run like 9 or 10 psi on race gas tomorrow??

Yeah I probably am 250-275........at the crank.
But this was at the wheels and with 18"s. It actualy may have been only 7psi. Cause the dude said it was at 8 and he left it at that but now that i am driving it, it is only pushing 7 it will occasionally got to 8 then fall off to 7.

that's at the crank dude, he's talking 197 to the wheels. I'd say that's around where u should be with running 8 psi. maybe a little higher but that's a fair amount for 8 pounds.

Let us know how you do at the track. I ran a 14.3@96.5 on 8.5 psi. So I assume you will be around the low 14's too.

Nope.
Fist run 15.063 @ 94MPH
2nd run 15.4 @ 94MPH
3rd run 15.062 @ 93mph This was the best time but I had A LOT more weight in there this run than I did the first two runs????????????/

My boost was spiking to 8 and then droping to 6.
I turned it up a hair so maybe it was at like 7.
But I had 3/4 of a tank of 92 octane alond with 18" rims that went HOP HOP HOP HOP HOP HOP at the launch. All of my starts were very shitty.

I am going back this weekend to put in race gas turn the boost up to like 9-10 psi, install a test pipe and I should make some better passes.
I couldn't get past 15 for nothing.

Anyone maybe know why?????????????

Well an avenger is heavier i think. And the 18 inch rims are like driving on lead weights. Get some 16's or 15's for the front.

Actually, your power rating is ok. Your wheels suck up some of that hp and if your clutch truly is weak than it is stealing a few ponies as well. Consider a stock GS-T dynoes around 175-180.

As for the times, weight and big wheels are killing you. emoji

get rid of that Hop hop hop hop by getting some motor mounts.. that'll help alot.

getting a UDP will also put you over the 200 for whp.. which is not bad at all at 8 psi.

Where is your boost gauge set at? the closer it is to the intake manifold, the more accurate your reading will be.

Because 8 psi from the turbo is actually about 6-7 when it reaches the intake manifold, because of the FMIC.
