well im soon to be a very proud owner of an hrc stg 2. i am taking advantage of my down time(since i have the car in the shop) and ima put it on there. its used, but whatever. i was jes wundering if there have been any differences from hahns turbo kits during the last year or so? im fugin excited. sorry had to let ya guys no. is there anything i should check on (besides comp)? is thre anything i should look for when getting the turbo? like condition. how can i tell if its in good condition. i was told to spin the turbine and if its quiet then its good. but thats jes what i was told like a long ass time ago. well le me know. how much do used HRC kits go for? Don't know if I should save for turbo or nos it? sleeper or blowoff valve? So many option, so little money, so many dreams!!!

Good Job on the Purchace!
To check turbo look on the inside of the intake housing and give spin noise , bad, if it moves any way but turning thats also bad look for oil, oil bad if not dripping out of oil lines
Other than that check the wastegate actuator by blowing some air in it, not directly in but near the port.

I paid 2000 for a stage 2 about 7 months ago. It had missing fittings and no fuel pump, so I had to add some cash, but overall a good deal I would say.
