Hey Jason,
I already ordered the TurboXS RFL blow off valve and I definitely know I'm getting the starion intercooler. I spoke with Sean from Florida and he pointed me out to RRE's web page with all the pipings already bent. Problem is I don't know which piping parts to buy. Corbin suggest I go to Summit and order my own pipes and bend them myself. If you can please help me out on what to do. What size piping I should get and if I should get it from RRE please let me know exactly which part number I need and if there's anything else I may need. I'm getting the HRC stage 1 kit. Will the turboxs rfl blow off valve fit the flange that comes with the hrc kit? I remember Gary from Howell telling me that it will. I just really need your help with the piping and if I should order the catch can too. Thank you for the time.

Veasna

Buy whatever diameter piping is for your intercooler then buy at least 2 J bends maybe more.

Well I bought all my pipings. Bought all 2.25 pipings. Bought 4 90 degress bends which are 8in on both sides of the bends making it 16in total and one 10in. I also bought triple pillar guage mount. Now I need to buy couplers. I was looking at RRE and thinking of buying the 1ft 2.25in coupler and the one where you easily bend it around. Two things of couplers is gonna cost about 45 bucks plus the 2in to 2.25in mate will cost another 22 bucks. 67 dollars for couplers, unless someone else can point me in the right direction. On top of that the catch can will cost 49 bucks, is the catch can necessary? Hades you've been a great help. I've been studying your starion intercooler pictures all morning. Thanks bro.

I think you're on the right track after our AIM discussion last night. Remember though, beyond the 90 angles, I also bought two big U-turn pipes. They're a little more pricey, but I remember when I was doing my own measuring for piping, I figured I need them. (and never used them emoji )

The TurboXs-RFL BOV fits on the HRC piping BOV flange, but if you're making you're own piping, you'll have to make your own flange as well.

The catch-can isn't necessary. It's just a handy little extra that can help you monitor your blow-by and also keep your engine bay cleaner to prevent any oil from littering it. It's certainly not an immediate need. Think more in terms of an EGT guage and an A/F meter for immediate needs.

Thanks Jason,
I was going to get the U-Bends so I can cut it to make a J, but by studying some of the pics, I don't know if it's necessary. If I really do end up needing one, I'll just drive down to autozone or the nearest muffler shop. This whole flange thing is new to me, I thought the HRC flange comes off easily and I can put it onto another pipe. Since HRC offers the stock 3kgt blow off valve, does that mean I need to get a 3kgt blow vavle flange from TurboXS? Simce the blow off valve will fit the hrc flange for the 3kgt.

The HRC flange will only come off if you cut opff that section of the piping. The universal TurboXS BOV's apparently will fit it. Thusly, just by the BOV and don't worry about buying a flange if you cut off the HRC piping portion with the flange attached.

no with aftermarket valves, bill hahn told me to just order the flange for the 4g63 BOV's becuase hahn uses that flange on the 2gnt kits.
