I'm having a problem with my stage 3 axles. I can't keep the wheel bearings tight for anything. When I first put them on, there was almost 1/4" of play in and out (top to bottom) with the wheel on. Took the spindles out of the car, pressed the hubs and bearings back together so they were tight (2000# on the arbor press). Put them on the car sunday night and drove back and forth to work 3 days and they are loose as hell again. This is really starting to piss me off. I need to know if I am missing a spacer or something. All I have are the pieces you would normally have: axle, washer, and the axle nut. I've torqued them down to spec (125-140 ft lbs) and beyond with no luck. Any ideas??? TIA

Yea, I called them. He said the bearings must be shot (they're only 7 months old). I have all the pieces, and I have it put together right. I guess I'll be taking it all apart AGAIN this weekend and re-pressing the bearings and then if that doesn't work, I'll replace the bearings.
