Anyone on here powdercoat their oil pan? Will it hurt it? I am having another batch of stuff powdercoated, didnt know whether to have this done also while its off the car... btw, here is a pic of the downpipe and a shot or 2 of the crowler rods and je pistons..

Hey a little off topic but what size is that downpipe, i went to an all dsm shop and they said that to replace that first bend of the downpipe off the turbo it would be too expensive to be worth it. They told me they couldn't fit a 3 inch in there anyway. I would like to replace that 2.25 inch piece, but not for what they are charging. How much was it?

i dont see powdercoating the oil pan posing a problem.. just make sure it only gets powdercoated on the outside btw where are you sending your stuff to and how much does it normally run you.. i would love to get stuff powdercoated eventually..

PCing the oil pan wont hurt anything. One of the asog guys had his PCed

The downpipe including the flex section was $200.00 to be custom fabricated, 3'', he said 3 was as big as i would need for a downpipe, and from the flex back is 4'' straightpipe. Wow, it is a night and day difference from the exahaust that was on there before, i would have payed double if he wanted, thats how worth it it was. I went ahead and put the oilpan back on while i was in the mood, i'll powdercoat it later maby, not a big deal i guess... btw, I have a local guy that powdercoats for a good price, actually a friend of the family... if you all want stuff powdercoated that you want to spend the money to ship, i might be able to get it done for you... have to see how busy he is right now...

While I was under my car, I pulled the intake manifold and tb to ship it off, here is a pic of the manifold with the nos fogger setup installed.
