I just found out my 02 senser is wasted, should I replace it with the factory one? Or is there a better one that can handel the heat. I remember someone posting that theirs went out as soon as they went turbo, and would hate to buy one and have it get smoked right out the gate. Can I eliminate it? if so how? Thanks guy's

Well I am sure it had somthing to do with the fact that I cut the wires to take it off the OG down pipe and put it on the header down pipe I had on my car. So after tapeing them up I noticed that my car Runs rich. Real rich! real real rich! like un burnt fuel coming out my exhaust, along with a puff of greyish/ black smoke when I nail it.
Regardless if it is wasted or not in my case I need to replace it due to my impateince and just cutting the wires. But I truely believe it is toasted.

On the subject of O2 sensor:

1. Since adding a turbo probably kills the stock O2 sensor,
will a 2G turbo's O2 sensor fit our cars?

Just a thought.
