I need to purchase some Eagle Rods. For those of you that own Eagle rods could you please answer some questions?

Does it include everything necessary to install the rods, or do I need to purchase something else in order to install the rods?
If it includes ARP bolts, what part of the block are they for?
What kinda price did you get for the rods?
Where do you reccommend I purchase them from?

Could you please answer my questions? I really need to get a set of these rods. Reason being, is because my machine shop has my motor and they're currently boring it 0.020 over and asked me today if I planned on installing some stronger rods. Thanks in advance.

I dont have any but I can answer some questions (since your in a hurry).

They come with APR rod bolts. You need main and rod bearings. everything you need to attach em to the pistons come with pistons.

>If it includes ARP bolts, what part of the block are they
>for?

None. they hold the rods to the crankshaft.

>What kinda price did you get for the rods?

Dont know but they cost between the lowest I've seen em were $335 on a group buy. Usually cost $350. MSRP is $399

>Where do you reccommend I purchase them from?

Well I'd recommend Howell 1rst (since they ship like they are suppose to) but if your are in fl. CNNP racing is closer or on the west coast Modern Performance. They all specialize in 420As so I'd got to one of them 1rst, they can probably answer questions you may have. Between the 3 you shouldn't have to wait for stock.

Thanks a lot dude. I gave Howell a call and just ordered a set with them. I also ordered the APR head studs from them also. In addition, I purchased the PT style lifters. Total was close to $600 Well worth it though. Thanks again! I've never heard of CDDP. I'm gonna look them up on the web and see what kinda info and parts I can get from them.
