OK, this spring I'm going to be upgrading to the Hahn stage III setup. I'm putting together a list of what I'll need, and I'm curious if I'm missing anything. If you guys notice something I don't have listed, please point it out to me. Also, if there's anything else I should know about, please post as well.

1. Hahn Stage III Upgrade Package:

JE Forged Pistons, rings, wrist pins
Crower Connecting Rods
Hahn 500cc injectors (any suggestions here for other options?)
Hahn PowerFuel Module (suggestions? opinions?)
Hahn Ignition Amplifier (what about this, MSD better?)

2. Other stuff

After market BOV of some sort
Boost controller
Aftermarket fuel rail (suggestions? do I need one?)
Upgraded Clutch (suggestions?)
Metal Engine Gaskets (what brand? best place to get them?)

Anything else you guys can think of?

Thanks! emoji

Skip the stage 3, get the Stage 4. That comes with the 625's and the Accell DFI.

Are you redoing their page again or something emoji

No Dino, unfortunately I believe I'll be paying for this one. That's why I'm thinking stage 3...

I'll ask them for pricing the stage 4 as well though, but the truth is I don't think I'll ever go over 15psi. Probably more like 12 actually...

Oh, well.. in that case:

1. Hahn Stage III Upgrade Package:

JE Forged Pistons, rings, wrist pins
Crower Connecting Rods
Hahn 500cc injectors - these should be fine for 12-15 psi.
Hahn PowerFuel Module - Never seen one, but i guess it'll work.
Hahn Ignition Amplifier - MSD's probably better, i don't know if this can do timing retard, MSD can.

2. Other stuff

After market BOV of some sort - GReddy Type-S is nice.
Boost controller - manual or electronic? Cheap or $$?
Aftermarket fuel rail - don't need it.
Upgraded Clutch CM Stage 4. HRC sells it..
Metal Engine Gaskets - Use the factory MLS headgasket, all others can be stock, shouldn't hurt anything. (all mine are stock)

the hahn ignition is the crane dis2 or something like that the new model! the hrc gs 420a use to use the msd dis2 bill said the crane is much better since it also works off of boost proportion etc... the hrc fuel system is still being tested bill says, he is still not pleased with the results yet! last time i talked to him was hmm 4 months ago...

Yeah, as dino said, leave the fuel rail as is. I was looking into that a short while ago and from what I can tell, ours is larger stock than most common aftermarket rails. What I remember is that ours is 3/4" and the largest one I could find was 9/16" or 5/8".
I'd go w/ the Crane HI-6 (I think that's the correct model) just b/c it can retard proportional to boost.

<dood BUILT MOTOR??? boost to like effin 25psi! why not? it's built rite?>

Well, no not exactly. As it is, I rarely ever loose a race on only 5psi. It's sick actually. I'm just wanting a little extra...another 100HP should do just fine. emoji
