Im pretty sure of this but I wanted to double check. The stock esi is not a turbo correct? I just got my 96esi off my buddy, its got a 3"exhaust on it but theres no specific name for it. My friend didn't even know what kind it is. I'm going to look into it further.

the esi is not turbo. that exhaust is way to big for your car, unless you plan on going turbo down the road, then i'd advise to switch to a smaller exhaust

most likely wont be going turbo, I hardly have the money for much mods at all. Its going to be my car back and forth to college. I used to have a 91 maxima with 181,000 miles on it, it was a beast, but it had to go.

any ideas for exhaust then, i want something that sounds smooth and deep but not like harley sounding. my buddies got a 98gs spyder and he got an apexi n1 put on and took the resonator off and it seriously sounds like a harley its disgusting.

The N1 has a muffle over it. Its honestly one of the nicest exhaust systems Ive ever seen for our cars. Ive had the apex dunk and the N1. The N1 is by far better. The dunk was loud as hell. The N1 without the muffle (how i have it) isnt even that loud unless your getting on it. it has a nice rumble to it also when downshifting. The muffle it comes with will quiet it down a hell of a lot and make the idle sound a little better. (deeper rumble).

is your car loud woohoo 3inch exhuast? where'd you get that thing? Did you measure the diameter? That does sound too big. It's hard to find 3inch exhuast heeh I should know. yes Esi is like eclipse RS
