I got a ? while were on the subject of BOV 's .Do you have to hook up the dump tube since we have no MAF? Or is the reason that the BOV gobble is that we dont hook the dump tube back into the intake?

On a MAS such as a 4G63, the air being "blown off" is already metered by the ECU and will be recycled back into the engine. IF you remove this dumptube without leaning out your fuel mixture with a AFC, you'll run rich and performance will suffer.

Lucky for us we have MAP (420a). We don't have a dumptube.... and hence that doesn't apply to us.

As far as the gobble....many others on this board with HKS standard also has this problem. Raizin proposed a solution of directly attaching your air filter to remedy this . So far it has worked for a few.
