What are your guys opinions(I prolly already know the answer) but which one?? I mean should I ease my way into boosting or just say "FAK IT" get the stage 2, I mean saving that extra 800 bones will take a couple of months, but MORE POWA AHHHAHAHAHAHA!!}>
Probably a stupid question because thats why Im on this board is to learn how to make my car faster, and If I dont get the stage II, Ill probably regret it when I upgrade after a couple of months... I guess what Im getting at any of you guys that started out with stage I then switched to stage II do you wish you'd have just gotten the 2 first??

i would say get the stage 1 u could still run 5psi and when u get the cash get a FMIC and then boost it up to 8psi.get a hahns turbo kit

The FMIC will probably produce about the same HP as a SMIC. The FMIC will produce a colder intake charge, but it will be less efficient because of the higher charge volume. You'll probably lose .5-1psi in the FMIC where as the SMIC is more like .25psi.

At such low pressure as 5psi, the front mount is really only for super cool looks, but then again, If you plan on going to stage 3 or higher, it'll be good to have.

I run 5psi on the side mount intercooler, and I was dyno'd at 175.3HP at the wheels (roughly 219 at the crank.) It's been good to me, but this spring I plan on going to stage 3. Whoo-ah!

Okay call me a loser or whatever, but Ive never been in a turbocharged vehicle... But my RS feels like it takes off pretty good, does the turbo throw you back in your seat or what??? When do you start to feel the turbo?? What gear does the turbo really start kickin in? Im leaning towards the Hahn Stage II now .....I cant wait to find out!!

well i don't know about the Hahn, but let me say it WILL knock you back. i have the Star Stage II and i was shocked the 1st time i pressed the gas pedal. i also thought the samething of just buying the stage I, but in the long run, i was pretty sure i'm gonna want more out of it. so even that it's another $800 bones, just get it over with and get the FMIC with it. trust me it's a thrill ride being stage II.
