Where would a good place to securely mount the vortec SFMU? (it's a huge sucker!)

I have the SFMU and I have a Dyno-Batt Very Small battery.....it's half the size and weight of the stock one...I mounted it on top of the battery...I could not get it to fit over by the cruise control unit...the SFMU is too Big Let me know if you want a pic, I can E-mail one to ya

i can't seem to secure my battery now cause the throttle body intake tube is too big =(

why not relocate the battery to the back? thats what i'm going to do when i start my star II install. Or is that not a good idea relocating it?

This won't help the SFMU install but as far as getting the battery tie down this might help. I use this becuase my plastic holder wouldn't work either Plus it was rubbing on my IC piping.

Down here in California we call this a "bend". I'm not sure what you Canadians call it.
