I am going to take my cat off and put a straight pipe on. I have 86,000 miles on my car and I think my cat is holding my turbo back a little. Where can I buy a straight pipe that will bolt right up? I dont care if i get a CEL. I want more speed!!!!

I have one already made at my friends muffler shop. Has the flanges and bolts right on. I didn't get a CEL when I had it on either. e-mail me if you might want it... avenger05@earthlink.net

Its a pipe that bolts up directly where your cat used to be. It replaces the cat. The cat will slow down airflow so when you replace it with a straight pipe you get better flow. Its illegal in some states though. In florida they dont give shit about emmisions.

I put one on my 91 mirage because the cat was clogged. I got it from mufflerdeals@aol.com 29.95 +shipping. They can make one for any car.
When I put mine on the Rage(hehe) the car ran better, but the exhaust is hella loud. I have a metallic rap when I let off the gas. Its good for a few laughs everytime I drive it
Seriously though, if you want a test pipe go to this guy. Very good construction and fast shipping

Just run straight pipe all the way back, that'll free up un-needed backpressure, put an n1 on the end or another muffler with a straight through design, or just leave straight pipe.
they have a few straight pipes to choose from including a resonated one. They also claim to weld an O2 bung on the pipe that is packed with CAT material to fool the ecu.
What is the difference between the regular test pipe and the resonated one? I know what is physically different, but how will the resonated one perform over the regular one. Will it sound different, etc? I currently have a gutted CAT (it was clogged ), and ever since I did that my car sounds like it is farting at low rpms. I think a test pipe would fix this, but I would like to know which kind of pipe I should get.
