I ordered mine today. So when it gets here I have no idea also. So if anyone has pics on how to hook it up casue I have no clue .....when you say map sensor I would even know where to look or what it looks like.

well you can tap the ground to the stock map ground ( black i believe ) check to make sure... its the one with the yellow strip or wire.. sorry dont got my car right now to look at... Michael

Hey guys can you explain how vc-1 or 2 works? Cause when i installed my turbo and tried installing the vc1. I kept getting a voltage problem. I'm 8 months turboed without vc1. No cel...just wondering what vc1 actually do to our when turboed? I have 96 rs.

look for old post explaining the vc-1 and vc-2... vc-1= soft clamp might cause cel http://splitsec.com/ vc-2= hard clamp and its adjustable on my car no cel so far for this get the vc-2 its only $86.13 ask them to set it to 4.7v if you like. Michael 99gs- hrc stage 2

Your ECU will cut your fuel (on OBDII models) if it sees the MAP sensor signal positive manifold pressure. The VC1/2 are different types of clamps to theoretically prevent your ECU from seeing boost. I ran for 2-3 wks without any fuel cut prevention as well. Occasionally I'd get fuel cut, but most of the time I wouldn't. If you're not experiencing fuel cut, it's nothing to worry about.
