I went searching today at Radio Shack and I couldn't find a 1.2k ohm 100 watt resistor. I found plenty 1.2k ohm 1/2 watt but no 100 watt. The Radio Shack guys were as useful as tits on a boar. Should I be hunting somewhere else? Home Depot? Thanks. Man I swear, if you EVER need a beer, I promise a cold brew in Kansas.

You can try using a a lower wattage rating... I'm not really sure how much power actually goes through that harness connector. It may burn up, tho.
Try looking on the net for a place that sells electronic components. it doesn't have to be rated at 100w, but >1w would probably just burn up.
