hello i am pretty new here but i have been reading and trying to soak in as much info on dsm eclipses/talons for a while. my question is.... i am fixing to order a hahn stage II turbo kit w/ upgraded intercooler, a set of forged pistons and rings, and crower connection rods. It is going to cost a pretty penny so i want to know if it is really worth it. for the people with the kit what kind of kills do you rack up? and if you can give me a few hints and tips on the system. thanx a bunch and i hope to be posting here more often.

What you listed is the stage 3. And with a stage 3 turbo kit you can run a lot of boost. With injectors you can run 15psi. And at that high of boost i wouldnt be surprised if you were beating Z28s pretty easily. 15psi should put you deep into the 13's. Dont forget you will need a new exhaust system (but you know that already I hope) and an AFX underdrive pulley wouldnt hurt either.

You should be able to kill most anything on the road that's not a top of the line model domestic. If you have a Stage 2, boosting 8lbs or so, I have little trouble disposing anything less than ~230-240 HP. Figure generally, that for each pound of boost, you're getting about 11 more HP (over 140). Then rememebr, you have a few hundred pounds advantage over heavier domestics, but lighter hondas and neons, should also be taken into account.

Otherwise, unless your opposition is modded, you're pretty indestructible, save for the few cobras, LT1's, WS6's, and other high model domestics looking for trouble.

My kit has recently hit its 20k mile anniversary.

OK, turbo is the shiznit. I'm only running 4psi at the moment, and I don't have any problems out running most of the cars I run into, save for a few modded v-8s and turbo v-6s.
