I am auto, and I am tired of being slow or being used to my car's power. I wanna fast, and good looking car. I don't wanna get rid of my car, however, I don't wanna break mine and be stranded for a year. Have any of you had problems without over boosting and not following directions? Or is everything ok? Which kits are you using and how much have you spent? I am considering going HRC stage 1 and working up to 3. I just wanna know if it is worth it, or if my car will more than likely break. TIA.

I got stage II star runni'n 10PSI daily. No tranny problems whatsoever.I'll be running 15PSI next week too.Be prepared to have spare cash though. You'll always run into surprises.Even when nothing's broke,a hose here,a fitting there, all adds up after awhile.Hope you follow instructions and run the recomended boost and you'll be fine.

You're not planning on turning it up to 15 psi without forged internals and/or some sort of timing retard (this is assuming street gas). That would be a very bad idea unless you lowered your compression by some means (thicker headgasket). I'm pretty sure stock internals cannot take that amount of cylinder pressure. 10psi is pushing it in my opinion.

Autos can be fast, take Joe (Shogun98rs) for example. He's got a star stage2, howell bottom end rebuild kit, and pretty much everything else to make it a stage 3 1/2 and its DAMN fast. I completely crushed a trans am (new one) in his car and that was before it was tuned, with a boost leak, and blowing off IC pipes. I believe he's running 18psi on pump gas (has a BC issue so only at 14psi now) and who knows what he'll run on race gas. 13s easy on pump gas. I don't even wanna think about it with race gas but I'll guess I'll find out on Sunday.
