Please help me. My car engine is fully assembled and the car even started right at the first cranking. I got all the hoses and wire harnesses hooked up, EXCEPT, the vacuum line that goes to the BOV. I don't have the installation manual anymore, and I couldn't figure out where the other end goes.

I think it goes to one of the three vacuum nipples (prongs) on the intake manifold, but those seem to be used up; or maybe I misplaced a "T"? Anyone, please help. This is the only thing that's keeping me from driving my car.

Kon,

Nice to hear you got it running! I don't think I got to meet you when I hung with Columbus DSM, maybe I can make it out to a meet and introduce myself. Anyway, good job!

You need to disconnect the vacuum line that runs to the left side of the fuel rail (as you are standing in front of the car looking at the engine) and vent that to open atm. You can then connect the line from the blow off valve to that prong.

Thanks for the info guys!

Eric, if you can make it, we'll be having the club meet at the end of January. We haven't agreed on the place yet. I hope to see you there.

Matt, were you at the 2001 shootout? If so, were you with VX100?

There won't be a vacuum line running to your fuel rail if you have a 96+. If you have a 96+, I T'ed off the vacuum line from the right side of the barb coming off the back of your intake plenum.

Most everything you need in the case of vacuum lines can just be T'ed from another pre-existing vacuum line.
