Doesn't look so bad. Fairly inexpensive as far as they go, but at a glance i couldn't tell if it was applicable for our application. 700 - 900 bucks isn't bad for a fully programmable fuel computer.

The SDSEFI isn't a bad setup for the price, but it won't work with our stock crank angle sensors...You have to have a plate made up with magnets mounted on it, and use their crank sensor, kind of a pain. Also, it is limited in tuning and datalogging since it does not use a laptop to tune it. No real time display of what all your sensors are reading. Also, it doesn't have the kind of outputs like slightly higher priced setups have like the haltech, or ProEFI. These outputs can be used to control idle speed, boost control, etc. The haltech boost controll is supposed to work as well as the APEX-i AVC-R with it's fuzzy logic, and you can have it controll the boost based on speed and gear, so lower boost in 1st and more as you go up. But, it is higher priced...so each has it's drawbacks. What would be really great for us is if ZDYNE who makes honda computers would make one for us. www.zdyne.com ...they plug into factory harness and can read boost and be programmed...too bad they are only into honda's...
