i have a hrc stage 2 on my 99gs. i am on my second hrc mapper and its still not giving the voltage its sopose to put out which is about 4.7v. my 1st one gave 3.98-4.0v max this one goes from 3.4v-4.34v. i was looking on splitsec.com and they show it hooked up at the ecu? is the install different then the hrc mapper which is at the map sensor?... could you guys let me know how you hooked it all up? thanks michael 99gs-hrc stage 2

It hooks up to the map sensor, but in the end I think it really does not matter as long as it intercepts the signal between the ecu and the map sensor.

The vc-1 i have is from them i think and it hooks up at the map sensor, not the ecu and works just fine. I've heard a few ppl having problems with the hrc ones, might try and get a split sec one
