Well now that I have a 6 puck ceramic clutch in I have to returbo. This is the $329 SPEC clutch I spoke of. Good for 400hp they tell me. Its streetable but a little grabby (from the 20 miles I've driven it)

The mighty VR6 with humongous engine cover (soon to be carbon fiber engine cover)

My poor engine turboless but nicely painted stock exhaust manifold and stock airbox. I really do need the downpipe section so if anyone has one lying around email me. I'd like to be able to drive the car and start it without people looking for Dale Jarrett outside.

And the VDUB that now may never see dubs (-1")) thanks to me wanting to turbo again.

yeah its the same pic in my new sig. what of it?

I also have a stock downpipe, but you'd have to cut off and redo the cat flange if you were to use it.. I had a cat welded to it way back in the day.

That, and someday i may be in a similar situation, so i'd like to have my stock stuff laying around emoji

If it werent for stock stuff I kept I'd really be ass out. I practiced drilling and tapping my stock manifold for the EGT gauge and the downpipe was used on the first design pacestter 4:1 header for our car.

Can you put 19's on a GTI/GOLF MKIV?

And some Dubs too!

Any questions. Those stock wheels dont look like it but they are factory 17" with 225/45/17 tires standard.

It should look that way forever. If the manifold surfaces were smooth like a header and it wasn't cast iron I'd say not too long but high temp paint works okay on cast iron (NA anyway. dont know about turbo heat).

NA I dont see how the talon could stand a chance but I havent driven the talon NA since last spring. Who knows it might me fast NA. The VR6 is faster down low turbo or no turbo but the turbo top end is much stronger. If I were racing it I'd fly right by the VR6 once into 2nd, I think.

And yes I want the downpipe section. I'll email you.
