the other day, i seen the engine bay of an older sierra truck, and when he started it up, his fans were blowin like a tornado.

my ? is, what kinda upgraded fans will work with a turbo setup for my clipse?

also, only one of my 2 fans work. can someone hook me up with the two-fan mod link, if there is one.
i think it works when i use the airconditioning, at least thats what ive been told.

FAL fans are badass and work just as sweet as the look, but they're damn expensive for fans... i'm holding off till i can get the hookup on em... and you can just trace wires and tap into the a/c condensor fan for now.. thats what i did, but i cant explain what to do, its been too long ago

shaun.. i did the 2-fan mod awhile back when i started to notice that the one that only came on with the ac wasnt coming on and causing my engine to overheat some... hit me up on aim and ill walk you through it.. its really easy and the wiring info is contained in the chiltons manual.. all i did was tap the wires from the other fan's power and ran them to the other fan so that both come on all the time..

mine is actually a spal You can pick these fans up at any 4 wheel drive shop. The reason only one fan comes on with out the ac is that the temps arent hot enough to need both fans. I reduced the size of my radiator and increased the size of the fan.later mike

Won't running both fans all the time rob some power? I have a buddy around here that has a stang (pretty fast might I add it pulls the wheels) and when he is just normal driving he let's his fans run but as soon as some one wants to race he shuts the fans off (then turns on the NOS }> ) but as soon as the race is over he puts the fans back on. Any advantage to having a set up like that or is it all in his head?
