Does anyone know if anyone made a supercharger for our 420a yet? It seems like there is a SC kit for every other 4cyl, out there.

There has been 1 known person that has supercharged an eclipse/talon. Nobody makes kits and it would be a hell of a lot of money to get a custom kit put on.

Kory (up above) fooled a few 2gnt'ers into thinking he made a supercharger kit. (Its a joke around here now when someone brings up a supercharger question) emoji

Superchargers aren't that great for our cars from what i understand (i may be wrong) due to the power loss caused by having to turn the SC. We have better low end than most cars, but having to spin up a SC will drag it down, so the gains are mostly negated.

it's cheaper to buy a turbo anyway. Loads of low end just make for worse traction issues when you're FWD anyway.

why would you want to run a supercharger anyways? They dont put out anywhere near the amount of power as a turbocharger. I think I saw a Type-R on hondastyle.com with a MASSIVE amount of mods and a Jackson Racing supercharger. It had mods like Brad does (super20g). And a dyno posted at 236hp and like 166ft.lb. torque. LOL id cry if I spent $3000.00 on something for those kinds of gains.

hmm...supercharger is belt driven. How possible would it be to have a supercharger and a turbocharger on the same engine. Would it be? And earlier today I saw the engine of my dads F150 truck. Its like its made for a twin turbo. It has 2 inlets to the intake manifold. I already made plains to get the engine when it dies. I wanna TT it. =))) Its perfect for a twin turbo. I also have a old truck sitting at my house to put the engine in. it will be a GREAT project truck. Wish me luck. woOt.

Ya know ya probably could put both on a 420a but then you would have to have super duper internal parts made from kryptonite, and instead of fuel injectors you could use 4 garden hose nozzles, hell dont even use gas...just NOS.

Jest playin man. Seriously I think it would do more harm than good.

I never thought it was possible until I saw the Meguairs Integra, and HKS I believe has done it. They are making 400hp on pump gas with a massive power band and it looks wicked. If I could I would love to myself.
