I'm almost done with my install on my 99gs. I'm having trouble hooking up the vortech FMU, it look confusing. And how did you take off your oil pressure sensor because its hard to reach. And for the blow off valve where do i get the vaccum line to go on the blow off valve??? For the VC1 fuel cut i dont know where the ignition switch is. Please can someone help me so I can start spooling. Everything else is done besides all of the above.

for the oil sensor you have to buy a special oil sensor socket, it is a tight fit but you will be able to get to it.

for the BOV you have to go to any car store and buy about a foot of vacuum line that will fit on the BOV and conect it to the little pipe that comes out of the valve cover.

for the wiring on the vc1 there is no switch just wire it to the power cable which if I remember correctly is the black one with a white stripe.

As for the FMU the vacuum line goes all the way to the engine, then you might have to take off the (stock) return line and change it for the one that comes with the FMU cus it is longer. and then conect the FMU to the stock FPR.
check out the pics on www.turbogs.com they helped me a lot.
hope this helps.

I ran a vac line for the bov off the back of the intake manifold. The VPC connects to the MAP sensor then just run 2 lines to it for power and ground.

Thanks for the help guys. But for the vc1 fuel cut there is 2 wires from each 2 sides of the black box, so where do i put the green and red wire at??? As for the FMU where is the long vaccum hoes gonna connect to on the engine??? Where did you guys mount the blue FMU at??? Just one more question on the FMU there's a gold ribbed nipple what does that connect to??? Thanks

the vaccum for the fmu goes to the intake manifold, and plugs to the ribbed outlet on the fmu.
you mount the fmu right next to the stock fpr.
as far as the wiring for the vc1.
on wire goes to ground
another to power (or the switch on the diagram)
then you cut the yellow with black stripe wire that goes from cpu to MAP and one wire from vc1 goes to the part of the yellow with black wire that goes to MAP
the other vc1 wire goes to the yellow and black wire that goes to the CPU.

don't remember which color of teh vc1 wires goes to wich but the diagram should tell u that.

take a look at the pics on www.turbogs.com he has pics of the FMU and you will get an idea of where it goes and how to "pug it in".

HOpe this helps.
