Ok, got the EGT installed finally.. I havent ran the engine for 3 months, so I've been letting her Idle and driving it easy to break her back in.

On 15psi runs, she's 1200 degrees. At idle, she's around 900-1000. Are these numbers decent?

depends on where your probe is mounted. you should be alot higher than 1200 at WOT. i hit 1520 max and my probe is 2 inches from the head on runner 4. yours is in the downpipe isnt it? if so you pretty much wasted the $50 on the probe.

Wow, if you got your EGT for $50, let us all in on that.. I paid 139 for mine... If you meant $50 to have it welded in, I had 2 big cracks welded and the EGT probe installed for 50 bones.

Ok, I found my problem, on of my connections was loost, not off, but loose, throwing off my results... Now I am getting 1000 at idle, 12-1300 at normal driving and around 14-1450 at 15psi... I'll post more results once I break her in a little more and do some high boost runs... I'm gonna go take a pipe wrench to the factory oil sender unit and get her off so I can install my mechanical oil pressure gauge... Anyone know how to test o2 sensors? My A/F gauge is always reading lean now even though its backfiring telling me she's rich... Think the 02 sensors could be bad?

Numbers sound right to me(from what I've heard, and just installed my EGT)

To test the O2 sensor you have to have a multimeter and test the resistance between the contacts on the O2 sensor plug... I can't remember what the numbers you should be looking for. When I get a free minute I'll look at my manual and see what the numbers should be. (I need to do this on my Neon anyway)

I havent looks closely but is your greddy or autometer with a special/diff probe? I got the Autometer Model 4344 EGT, the probe and gauge all came together for $139 shipped I think it was. I don't know if there is a difference between probes or whats a good one or what not but this one sweeps quickly and has accurate results(as long as you check all your connections and make sure they're plenty tight emoji)
