I know its the higher boost, but how do you get this? Is it a whole different turbo? Or a different guage setting thing? Or the intercooler? If I want to get my star stage 1 turbo turning the boost a stage 2 turns, what do I need?

The only difference form stage I TO II is an intercooler. The intercooler allwos you to run higher boost cause it cools the air.

So there isnt some boost dial on a stage 1 that stops at 5psi? Im saying what stops a stage 1 personf rom turning the boost up to 10? Is it posible, just really really unsafe without an intercooler?

That would be the wastegate.

Nothing that a $5 bleeder valve cant change. Same as whats stopping a stage 2 guy from running 30psi. Only common sense ultimately stops anybody from attempting to boost to whatever their turbo will boost to.
