Hi this may be a question already asked Ive searched couldn't find the answer. I have a 98 gs im looking to turbo yes 420a and no I don't wanna sell and get a gst gsx. I was wondering yalls thoughts on boosting high compression. Im gunna be running eagle forged h beams ported head obx intake manifold larger tb not sure on size bought it used cams possibly 272s haven't bought em yet and completely studed. Of course mega squirt and fmu maybe port fueler. I was thinking bout running 10.5:1 je pistons. Not sure on boost numbers yet but will be ran on 93 octane with water meth. Whats yalls thoughts.

Do it. With our modern fuel options (MS or portfueler), you can get away with high comp + turbo on a daily driver. Add water injection/ignition control for safety.

I definitely suggest MegaSquirt. That gives you full control over ignition timing. Timing will be very important if you want to push the limits. You'll probably run out of traction before you run out of octane, so I would probably wait on the meth until you get everything else sorted out. MegaSquirt is a whole adventure unto its own, without anything else on top of it.
