Whats the longevity?
My MSD took a dump on me for no reason,I just wonder if these
Crane HI-6DI2 units are more dependable or do they crap out at the same rate...?

The Crane unit may be hard to find as the company does not exist anymore. I'm sure you could find one used, but then you have to be worried if its in good shape.

What exactly happened with your DIS2? Did you mount it under the hood or inside the car? I ask because the units are sensitive to heat, and if mounted under the hood they can go bad due to overheating.

When the MSD has been on /car running 2-3 hrs of drive it was acting as a limiter, of course it was not a setting.

There are still company's that sell the Crane units is Crane better?
