I have that divided 0.78 A/R with a different center section and compressor. ATP is a good company. I have been happy with the quality of the housing and other parts purchased from them. Be sure to buy your V-band flanges from ATP. Flanges on E-bay and many other places will not match that housing. They also include really beefy clamps with self locking nickel alloy nuts that will not gall when overtightened. They did try to send me some cheaper substitute flanges/clamps once, so you do have to watch them (they kindly replaced them and paid shipping). I am a believer in ball bearing center sections though. I can hear my compressor spinning for at least 30 seconds after I shut the engine off (GT3071). My old jounal bearing turbo never did that. That is my two cents.

i hope you plan on getting a divided manifold made to match the housing otherwise its worthless and pointless to get that housing to mate to a cast log.

I don't plan on getting a different manifold right now. That is the only housing that is T3 AND Vband which is why I picked it.

Hmmm if I get a BB the GT3076R will be the same price as the 60-1. The 30R map fits my needs much better. Will it be able to make 400whp on 93 octane and water injection?
The 60-1 still seems to be a bigger turbo on the compressor side. I don't know if the few hundred RPMs for the BB is worth it. Are there any other advantages besides quicker spool?

If you want to check out the capability of the GT3076R, I would scour the net for dyno data on 4G63 Eclipse and Evo 7-9 upgrades. I believe that 400 WHP is probably at the reasonable max of a GT3076R. It might leave you a little short, but should be close. Those selling BB turbos tell you that they will spool faster, be more durable because of tighter clearances, and deteriorate your oil more slowly due to their reduced oiling requirements. It sounds reasonable to me. You have to be a little bit careful. Some turbos have two ball bearing assemblies. Some have one ball bearing assembly and one journal bearing assembly. Just make sure you know what you are buying.
If you get a divided housing and put it on a non-divided manifold, you will pay a penalty. Some energy will be wasted as the exhaust slams into the flat face of the divide. If you never intend to make a divided manifold, I would avoid the divided housing.
