#106775, "Missing Link Question"

Hello, I saw a missing link on ebay advertised to fit-
94-01 Acura Integra B18
92-00 Honda Civic D16/B16
94-97 Honda Accord F22
97-01 Honda Prelude H22
00-02 Honda Accord V6
99-03 Honda S2000 F20
All Acura NSX

My question is, will this same one work on my 95 esi? Just wondering because I can get a better price on this one...Thanks!

I doubt it. Also, out of personal experience, after two weeks of boosting with a missing link at 7-8lbs, I hit a boost spike of 11lbs and jumped timing and the car has been sitting since. IMO just get the FCD. I hear that is soooo much better than the missing link. Less problems and less maintenance.

I CONTRIBUTED TO THE WIKI!
ah... turbo. I love the turbo, the boost, the speed, the sound.
and its all better when you do it yourself. cheaper too.

Thanks for your input. I was actually just reading opinions and it seems like an FCD is the way to go...

those vehicles use ML001, our cars use ML003. the missing link is somewhat trash IMO, i've had mine failed on me, and the filter is a pain in the ass to keep up with. Go w/ an FCD.

When I had a turbo'ed 2GNT, I had a missing link; Which gave me nothing but problems. Partial throttle boost would cause the car to shudder and wretch violently, even with a new filter, etc... Honestly, for the amount of money you're talking about, which is a pittance in the grand scheme of things; (Approximately $25US) You may just as well buy an FCD, and not worry about it ever again.

The failure comparison between FCD's and Missing Links is rediculous. I have sold probably between here on 2gnt and through ebaym a good 75, maybe more FCD's. With that being said, I have had two bad ones out of all of those, and that was due to a failure in one of the parts. I personally used a ML when I first when turbo, and it was nothing but a headache...

the internal check valve is designed poorly and doesnt hold up to boost too well and for not too long a period of time. You don't want fuel cut, not good for you engine.

I have heard mixed reviews many have had problems and some don't.
I do know that Hahn RACECRAFT was working in development with Synapse, the makers of the Missing Link, to include it in their turbosystems

Isn't it funny how everyone started with FCDs then they were "bad" and missing link was the thing to do. Now it's back to square one.

I just installed the Missing link.
NO Fuel cut.
NO Check engine light.
NO slicing and dicing of the wiring harness.
NO simulating manifold pressure.
NO dickin around with a volt meter.
NO loss of boost.
Just two screws!!!
I did use some paddle wire to retain the filter!

Maybe keeping it clean as instructed is the key to avoid failure?
