The AC lines that go right into the ac compressor are really close to my downpipe. Can those lines be bent a little to give my downpipe a little more room?

you'll have to angle or remake your DP. Either that, or wrap your AC lines in header wrap.

You can bend them a few degrees. It is aluminum and fairly soft. Try not to put much force on the crimped end on the hose. Put the force on the aluminum tubing or you will break the crimp from the tubing. You only get one or two tries to bend the tubing. Repeat or extreme bends will fatigue the tubing until it fractures. I broke a couple trying to get clearance for my manifold. Definitely wrap the downpipe and put a heat sheild on the rubber part of the A/C line. Otherwise, you will end up splitting the rubber in a year. If you really have no choice, you can get custom A/C lines made. Our particular fittings are fairly rare, so you may have to get standard fittings brazed onto the stock fittings like an adapter. That is what I finally ended up with. ya i was able to route the downpipe so i didnt have to mess with the ac lines and i wrapped everything in heat wrap. thanks for the info too
