The best time in the 1/4 has 14.725 @ 100 mph, with 2.5 on the 60's... at 9 psi & open pipe
my turbo is a garrett t3, 2.5" downpipe
I want to built my engine to run 13s lows ; wiseco 8.8:1 .040 overbore pistons eagle rods all ACL bearings
i dont know if i'll need head studs or upgraded HG like cometic..
Want to run 15-18 psi.
What is the best way to tune this setup? SAFC-SFMU-440cc's or Portfueler ?
i search and the best option for me, its Portfueler, but is the most expensive... but the safc+sfmu+440ccs seems good too.. but i dont wanna fight with the rough & rich idle

If you're looking to run 15-20PSI, You're going to want to use ARP head studs. At that level of boost, it's really no longer an option, IMO. It would be wise to go with either a Portfueler or Megasquirt.

Look into Megasquirt.. Symtech labs has a pretty easy 420a-specific setup you should check out. As for head studs, do the ARP's, but also research converting to 1/2" studs. You're going to want more boost and even ARP studs aren't going to hold up forever.

oo its not that simple my friend. You'll need to calculate what size injectors you will need for your HP goal, and you'll need to probably find a base map to start with or you'll get quickly frustrated. If you have patience and a willingness to succed with it, MSnS is for you. If not, then i'd suggest purchasing a portfueler system and getting some sort of additional spark control to suppliment it.

Nay. Not *that* simple, but that's a good, solid start.
There's two schools of thought on this one. One is to focus on the rebuild and getting an engine capable of taking some boost first, then step into MSnS down the road. A robust bottom end will allow turning things up a notch with the existing tuning utilities, providing immediate gains.
The other school of thought (and this would be mine, actually) would be to get the MSnS purchased and installed first. Figure out how to tune without risking damage to a fresh, $3000 mill. As a bonus, MSnS+wb would stand to provide performance gains on the existing setup. Maybe dude could re-vise his goal to high 12s?

You dont need to spend that much on a megasquirt. A kit can be had for about 410.00. MS2 isnt something your required to run and in fact ms1 will work well for your setup. I would recommend a simpler setup and put the 150 into something like head studs or a set of 780cc injectors if your on a budget.
