Ok Im running s16g and the greddy profec B II but the solenoid went bad so its just a boost gauge , im using a turbo smart mbc, and my missing link was junk so i took it off and im running like 5 pounds until my FCD gets here but like Ill peak at 5.5 at like 3500 and then it slowly goes away as my rpms increase until it gets to like 3.2 around that area..i searched boost leaks but i couldnt really find anyone with this problem..why wont my car hold steady boost at wot

Have you tried removing the MBC and seeing what happens?

The boost controller does bleed alittle off...I just cannot get my intercooler pipes right...I found like 4 leaks today on my boost leak test...The really wierd part is right at my throttle body sounds like a huge leak...I couldnt find a leak tho..and if I play with my throttle on the intake manifold it gets louder and quieter...I pulled the pipes off and switched couplers and clamps and I still hear the leak sound right at the intake mani and throttle body...

You should hear louder and softer when you hit the throttle due to the tb is letting more air in and lets air..

Best thing to do is build a boost leak tester and put about 10 to 14 psi in it and find the leaks

Could be the o-rings in the tb..

If you can tear it apart and get the right 0-rings you could fix it yourself..

Or

if your looking for a reason to get a bigger or better tb heres your excuse..

All stock TBs leak at the throttle shaft. Not much you can do, really.

You might also try getting the boost signal for your MBC at the intake manifold, rather than the compressor housing. it's been known to make a difference with little turbos emoji

Wow that kinda sucks for everyone and not just me lol. I guess Im going to upgrade that then..Thanks man for the help and on the MBC question for my baby hair dryer..Will it matter if the line is like 3 feet long from the intake mani to the mbc, and also Im going to get my harness on my profec B in a couple days so can I just run that like wastegate and comp housing like the diagram says?
