#10614, "Hahn Boost Pressure too low at 5lbs instead of 8lbs"

Well i checked all my piping and what not and i cant figure out why my gauge is only reading 5lbs as max boost. The hahn instruction manual talks about adjusting the wastegate, but i know nothing about it and the instruction manual basically says dont touch it. So can anyone give me any advice? Thanks.

The waste gate will only give you about 1-2 pounds of boost. you have to loosen the large side of the wastegate first. Dont take out the bolts just loosen them. then you have to loosen the litle nut on the near the end of the rod. You have to take out the little pin from under the end of the rod. Then the rod should slip off the part that holds it. Twist the end of the rod that has a hole in it. It is on a thread so it should turn prety easily. I think (i havent done it in a while) you have to tighten it in other words make the rod shorter if you want more boost. It will make your boost kick in faster too. You should call Bill and have him explain it to you. Thats what I did when I needed to drop my boost. Hope this helps.
